Flood Buckets
Saturday, August 17th , 1-3 pm.
*Update: The UWF Flood Bucket Crew assembled 32 buckets for UMCOR!
St. John’s United Methodist Church's UWF speaker for August will be Rev. Clay Womack, retired from the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church (UMC) and very active with UMCOR mission work for the State of Texas. He will be speaking to us about the different ministries that we support through our giving with crisis intervention and mass disaster recovery.
We will be doing a flood bucket assembly at the conclusion of the meeting. We hope to complete 30 buckets which will be transported to Kerrville to our warehouse and then distributed as needed during this hurricane season.
You are welcome to join us and bring one item to contribute to the cause. Buckets have been donated, just bring contents if you want. Click the Cleaning Kit List button on the left.
